Since the coup on February 2, 2021, we have been working to empower the Burmese community in the United States and to push for the American government to do more for the people of Myanmar. We have helped organize events and meetings with Congressional offices. We have collected signatures on petitions to sanction the Myanmar military and recognize the National Unity Government.
